Dyson – Packaging Design and Artwork
Working upstream in the Design and Product Experience (D&PE) department of Dyson in New Product Innovation (NPI), I collaborated with structural packaging designers to design and develop a high-quality out of box experience (OOBE) for each new Dyson product, focusing on sustainability. I developed QuickStart Guide (QSG) content by illustrating and describing the user journey required to set up the product in as few steps as possible. I also designed on-box graphics for direct SKU’s.
The categories I worked on include Beauty, Formulations, Wearables (and new devices still under NDA), and also supporting on Floor Care and Environmental Care.
The last few years of my work at Dyson are under NDA and I have limited portfolio pieces to share. Below are a few examples from my time as a Lead Creative Artworker on retail/direct box packaging and out of box content (instructional design).
SAAB Print Design and Artwork

Following new brand style guides, I designed technical sales presentations in PowerPoint and InDesign, created technical data sheets, illustrated infographics, and designed brochures, interactive web pages, and a variety of other print and digital deliverables. I transformed complex technical product information into captivating visual stories.
Ericsson Print Design and Artwork
Having recently undergone a brand overhaul, I worked on transforming the new brand styleguide into eye catching layouts for technical data sheets, B2B communications, Powerpoint sales presentations, and brochures. Taking complex information, concepts and data then illustrating it within an infographic or chart, to make the data more accessible and easier to understand.

Working to a master creative as a styleguide, these projects required precise artworking with meticulous attention to detail to maintain the look and feel of the creative intent across different SKU’s. Whilst managing complex cutter guide requirements and ensuring accuracy and consistency across all labels.
Games Packaging – Creative Artwork
Over the years I've worked on computer games packaging for Electronics Arts Ltd., Warner Brothers, Universal and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. The main products created were inlays, manuals, discs, leaflets, stickers and special (limited edition) packaging. The work was fast paced, requiring skill, precision and excellent time management along with a detailed knowledge of the products, templates, style guides and territory requirements. Special packaging was frequently required, and my years of experience in different print processes proved useful.
